During this spring Ring Mekanikk AS has produced about 54.000 mechanisms used as tightening buckles for permanent strapping of the 42 km pipeline system on the sea bed between Tyrihans and the Kristin Platform.

These mechanisms are produced in a stainless and acid resistant type of steel that gives different challenges in production than normal steel. For Ring Mekanikk AS this is a valued experience that we hope to find use for in the future.

Tools were constructed and produced, and the parts were stamped and mounted in an extremely short time frame. This type of job goes very well with our Machine Park and capacity in construction department here at Ring Mekanikk AS. The end mounting was performed by our department in Latvia.
